Access the Trendall Archive
During his lifetime Professor A.D. Trendall built up a collection of photographs of South Italian and Sicilian red-figure vases to help him in his research. Our Archive now holds more than 40,000 photographs, filed according to the painters identified by Trendall in his various publications. The Trendall Archive is a unique research resource.
We are currently digitising the photos, and once finished these will be added to the text database. In the meantime, you can access the photographs by contacting the Director.
