Student placement policy

We offer placements for undergraduate students from a range of backgrounds.

Eligibility criteria

All placements will depend on the workload of suitable staff to supervise the student.

  • Priority is given to La Trobe University students on Work Integrated Learning placements

  • A minimum of 6 weeks’ notice is required

  • Students must demonstrate a prior interest in the autism field

  • Students must hold a valid Volunteer Working with Children Check

  • OTARC accepts a maximum of two students per calendar year
