At the La Trobe Business School, we focus on delivering business education and research informed by the needs and aspirations of our students, industry, government and communities. Our work is grounded in practical application, collaboration and social relevance.

We live in a time shaped by rapid technological advancement and the widespread use of data. These changes present both opportunities and responsibilities for the business sector and, more broadly, for society. We recognise the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in business and education, and design our curriculum to prepare our graduates for an AI-driven economy. We encourage the responsible and ethical use of AI by students and staff, ensuring it supports learning, creativity and academic integrity. Our curriculum is shaped by consultation with industry, informed by our research, and guided by our School Advisory Board.

Our regional, national and international networks allow us to prepare students for an evolving global economy. We support the development of capable, ethical business leaders through high-quality education and research with real-world impact.

Our programs are designed to be flexible, engaging and student-focused. We emphasise problem-based learning and critical thinking, using authentic assessment to support students in applying their knowledge in practical contexts, including through work-integrated learning and industry partnerships.

We are proud to be a signatory of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) and a PRME Champion, aligning our work with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
