A systematic review is a method of answering a question by finding, appraising, and synthesising evidence in a systematic and unbiassed manner. It enables the formulation of a thorough summary of all the available evidence relating to a specific research question.
This session explores the need for a systematic review, how to define your research question, and how to develop and plan your search. We will then go ‘beyond the search’ and describe how to extract data and synthesise the evidence to allow for analysis and interpretation.
