Emporium Creative Hub and La Trobe Art Institute are pleased to present contemporary First Nation’s video art with an introduction by proud Luritja Woman, Jenna Rain Warwick.
Jenna is an emerging artist, curator and published writer living and working on Wurundjeri and Boon Wurrung Country. Jenna undertook a residency at La Trobe Art Institute in November 2023 where she developed her research championing the creative imagination of First Nations peoples.
This program is part of the 2024 Central Indigenous Film Festival in National Reconciliation Week. Experience a range of films, videos, activities and discussions in local venues and online. This year’s festival showcases an exciting range of First Nations films, documentaries and videos starring and telling stories about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People from Central Victoria and across Australia.
