Describing Katla and Julud, Kordofanian languages of the Sudan

2006-2011

Katla and Julud are two closely related endangered Kordofanian languages that are spoken in the Nuba Mountains of the Sudan. Birgit Hellwig conducted descriptive research on these two languages in 2006/2007, and then continued this research in 2011 on the project Documenting Tabaq, a Hill Nubian language of the Sudan, in its sociolinguistic context.
