How2 training evaluation
Feasibility and efficacy evaluation of Rainbow Health Australia’s (RHA) How2 training program
Natalie Amos, Joel Anderson, Adam Bourne
Rainbow Health Australia, situated within ARCSHS, deliver the How2 training program, designed to equip representatives of an organisation with the knowledge and the skills to drive the development of an LGBTIQ+ inclusion strategy within their organisation.
As part of this evaluation project, the How2 training program will be administered to approximately 420 health and human services organisations in Victoria. An evaluation of the feasibility and efficacy of the program will be conducted, recruiting participants from the trainee organisations enrolled in the How2 training. The evaluation will involve assessment of the organisations themselves and their engagement in the training, as well as assessment of the individual trainees who attend the program.
Assessments and data collection will occur throughout the progress of the How2 program. Evaluation of the How2 training will involve both a feasibility and efficacy assessment of the program, to identify potential issues in the program delivery and gauge the likelihood of success of the training and to determine if How2 can effectively meet its intended objective of equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop LGBTIQ+ inclusivity strategies within their organisation.
