The La Trobe Business School Commerce Honours Excellence Scholarship
Background
These scholarships are to be awarded on merit, based on student performance in subjects in the discipline in which the student is taking the Honours program. The designated disciplines relate to the 5 major disciplines of the La Trobe Business School:
- Accounting
- Economics
- Finance
- Management
- Marketing
The scholarships are to be awarded in three increments throughout the Honours year:
- $2000 after the Semester 1 and Semester 2 census dates
- the final $1000 after submission of final thesis.
Are you eligible to apply?
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:
- be considering enrolling in Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) at La Trobe University in Semester 1 2018
- be enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) at La Trobe in Semester 1 2018
- be enrolled full-time for the duration of the honours year
Recipients of the scholarship shall be selected by the University based on their:
Selection is based on the Weighted Average Mark (or equivalent), from the six best second and third year major/discipline subjects completed in your Bachelor degree. Using this WAM, the scholarships will be awarded to the five students with the highest WAM, independent of discipline.
Please note, no more than three of these scholarships may be awarded to students in the same discipline in any one year.
How to apply
There is no application process for this scholarship.
Up to 5 students with the highest WAM who have applied for the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) course with La Trobe University for 2018 may be selected for this scholarship.
