Albury-Wodonga Campus, Bendigo Campus, Mildura Campus, Shepparton Campus

How is it paid?

two payments of $3500 per semester, full time enrolment (pro rata payment for part time enrolment)

Background

This new scholarship supports current Indigenous students studying hybrid or face-to-face at a regional campus. Building on the success of the Rise with La Trobe Pathway, which has seen a 50% increase in Indigenous enrolments over the past two years, the scholarship is designed to ease financial pressure and create more opportunities for success with current studies. It reflects our commitment to backing Indigenous students and their journeys. 

Are you eligible to apply?

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
  • Be a continuing student in a hybrid or in person course at one of La Trobe's regional campuses (Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo, Mildura, or Shepparton)

 Please note: Online courses are not eligible for this scholarship


Recipient obligations

  • Maintain in person or hybrid enrolment at a regional campus.
  • Maintain a weighted average mark (WAM) of 50+ (academic good standing).

Please apply for this scholarship through the VTAC Scholarships webpage before 13 October 2025.

Offers will be made via email from late December onwards.

The Terms and Conditions of the scholarship will be clearly stated in the offer email.
