The perfect chance to find out how you can get involved with one of our sport clubs or purchase your on-campus gym membership will be at the Melbourne Campus Orientation - Welcome Festival on Wednesday 25 February at the La Trobe Sports Park Stadium from 11:00am - 2:00pm. La Trobe Sports Park is Australia’s first integrated sport, research and education precinct of its kind — and it’s right here on campus.

The best part? Students can access and use our state-of-the-art facilities! Students have access to high-quality facilities including:

  • The Sports Park Stadium with six multipurpose courts for basketball, netball, futsal and volleyball court hire
  • Sports Park Sporting Fields, catering for a variety of sports including Australian Rules Football, Rugby Union, Football, Cricket and many more
  • The Sports Performance Hub
  • The Home of the Matildas facility, supporting elite soccer programs

La Trobe Sport has two gym facilities - one located at our Melbourne (Bundoora) campus and the other at the  Bendigo campus.

4. Play social sport in La Trobe League

Want to compete without a big commitment? La Trobe League is our social sport competition running throughout the year at the Melbourne and Bendigo Campuses.

Open to students, staff and community members, La Trobe League offers:

We will organise the fixtures, umpires, and ladders; all you need to do is sign up individually or get a team together.
