La Trobe Rural Health School is based in regional Victoria, but our staff and students are globally connected.

Work overseas

We pride ourselves on providing outstanding health degrees that have high international standing. Many of our graduates work as health professionals across the world. Our researchers are leaders in their fields. We work with international academics, whether it be exercise physiologists in the UK, nurses in Sweden or oral health workers in India.

Study overseas

• Many of our courses offer an opportunity to take a clinical placements with an overseas partner organisation, meaning you get a global experience that counts towards your degree.
• Every year there are opportunities for our staff and students to go on international study tours. We are partners with universities and health services in many different places including USA, Canada, Mexico, India and Nepal.

You may be eligible for financial assistance for your overseas placements or study tours at through La Trobe’s Regional Reward program.
