The La Trobe University Discipline of Social Work and Social Policy, supported by the Care Economy Research Institute (CERI), invite you to celebrate World Social Work Day 2025.
Join us for a World Social Work Day celebration at La Trobe University. This year’s International Federation of Social Workers theme is ‘Strengthening Intergenerational Solidarity for Enduring Wellbeing’. We’ve asked four social workers to share their views on intergenerational equity, strengths and challenges in social work practice and the future of our profession. Join La Trobe students, staff and our colleagues from different sectors for a spirited intergenerational discussion, with time for audience questions and comments.
