SPEAKER - Alexandra Drane
ARCHANGELS is an omni-channel platform hustling to create impact for unpaid caregivers and their communities, drive ROI for organisations in a low-lift high-impact way, and amplify and support policy and advocacy efforts with data and stories generated through their initiatives. Their ‘Caregiver Intensity Index Tool’ validates the caregiving experience and signposts resources for carers.
Alex and the ARCHANGELS team are obsessed with building and changing systems to see and support the critical work of unpaid caregivers. Alex sits on several boards including the RAND Social and Economic Policy Advisory Board, the Joint Commission Resources Board, the Entrepreneurs Council for The United States of Care, and Harvard Medical School’s Executive Council of the Division of Sleep Medicine.
Alex is also an inventor on numerous patents and hasco-authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles, including publications with the CDC, the Journal of Affective Disorders, and NEJM Catalyst. Her honours include the VNA Care Heroes in Health Care honouree in 2023, the Care100 list in 2020, Top Women in Healthcare’s Entrepreneur of the Year by PR News, Disruptive Women in Health Care’s Women to Watch, and Boston Globe’s Top 100 Women Leaders.
Outside of healthcare, she enjoys car racing, fiercely loving on family, friends, neighbors (and sometimes even strangers – because what’s a stranger?!), and living into joyful belief that ‘the adventure begins when it all goes wrong’ (Yvonne Chouinard).
WEBINAR MC - Dr Renae Fomiatti
