In June 2018, the Department of Engineering, in partnership with the German Aero-Space Centre DLR, successfully launched a satellite camera into space.
The launch is the result of many months of hard work. Congratulations to Peter Moar, Darrell Elton, Dragan Stancic, John Devlin, Jim Whitington, Eddie Custovic and the rest of the team.

“This course has opened up many career and further study pathways for me.”
story
I wanted to be able to work with any electronic device, no matter how complicated it might be. This course has opened up many career and further study pathways for me.
The subjects are directly related to what the industry requires and the staff are very friendly and easy going.
I really enjoyed being part of a student club and its activities around the campus.
I have so many highlights from my time in Australia; from university to the social life, travelling and experiencing the food and culture.
La Trobe is not just a university for me now, it’s part of my life and has given me a lot of good memories. I love La Trobe!
