Be an Enviro Scientist for a Day
A free program for high ability students in Years 3-6 to be introduced to scientific inquiry and conservation practices within a living laboratory setting.

Guided by Sanctuary educators and ecologists, students will step into the role of environmental scientists where they will undertake a variety of hands on activities including a bird or fungi survey, a wetland investigation and plant identification and propagation session. The activities aim to build transferable skills in observation, problem-solving, communication and teamwork while inspiring curiosity and a sense of environmental stewardship.
This event is part of the Victorian Challenge and Enrichment Series, providing free extension opportunities for high-ability students in Victorian Government Schools. Funded by the Department of Education's Student Excellence Program.
