Sport is a national obsession in Australia, and a thriving industry. Millions of us absorb writing about sport and recreation every week – from game recaps or analyses to training and wellbeing tips, from your local club newsletters to major reports on issues affecting our favourite sports and communities. What does it take to write well about sport and recreation? Whether it’s trackside reporting or policy recommendations, this Writers on Campus session will take us inside the clubrooms and boardrooms, with writers who are experts on both sport and how to write about it.
