2025 Career Practitioners' Conference

• Neurodiversity and Career Planning, Dr Jennifer Spoor, Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre and La Trobe Business School
  This session will provide career practitioners with a deeper understanding of neurodiversity and the impact of neurodivergence on secondary school students' career planning. Participants will explore the concept of neurodivergence, including conditions such as autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. Participants will gain insights into identifying the unique strengths and challenges of neurodivergent students. Practical strategies for effective communication and fostering inclusive career guidance will be discussed, enabling practitioners to create supportive environments for all students.
• Career-Focused Education: Learn about our commitment to helping students achieve career outcomes that align with their ambitions.
• VTAC update:  Get a head start for the year, hear VTAC representative Elise Joosten speak about what to expect in 2025 and 2026 including the new application, SEAS and other updates. This is the first in-person update for schools.
