La Trobe Academy

We recognise the key role that our learning and teaching staff play in delivering globally recognised education to our diverse student body.

Through the La Trobe Academy, will support our staff to lead the infusion of scholarship and innovation in learning and teaching across the wider university community through mentoring, collaboration and knowledge sharing.

To support this vision, we commenced an institutional ‘Access’ partner agreement with Advance Higher Education (AHE) in 2019. AHE is an independent not-for-profit organisation in the UK which champions learning and teaching across the international higher education sector. AHE developed the internationally-endorsed Professional Standards Framework (PSF) to benchmark teaching excellence.
