Research

The Research Centre for Data Analytics and Cognition (CDAC) research is founded on a new paradigm in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning based on over a decade of research into the frontiers of:

  • artificial intelligence,
  • cognitive science,
  • computational neuroscience and
  • cognitive psychology.

The core of our technology is built using self-learning or unsupervised learning techniques, which dynamically self-evolve to represent new situations.

We face the challenges of the big data era by using our novel AI approaches, where it is difficult or even impossible to apply traditional data mining techniques. The new algorithms and technologies include:

  • Incremental learning
  • Multimodal data fusion
  • Scalable learning structures
  • Spatio-temporal change detection
  • Automatic integration of semantics
  • Active/transfer learning
  • NLP, Sentiment and Emotion
