Joss Family Bursary application The Joss Family Bursary for Research Excellence is a $10,000 bursary for one early-career staff researcher on the Albury-Wodonga Campus. The funding must be used for research costs. It will be awarded annually.Eligibility criteria Level B and Level C academic staff. Staff working from the Albury-Wodonga Campus and listing this as their home campus. Application process An outline of the proposed research and potential contribution to knowledge (max one page). An itemised budget with a brief justification for each item. A brief statement about your research performance relative to the opportunity and how the proposed research would contribute to your future research success (max one page). A brief CV including qualifications, summary of professional/research experience and publications/presentations. A full publications list is not required (max two pages using Calibri 11 font). Contact details for two referees. Referees should have knowledge of the researcher's ability to carry out the project successfully. Terms and conditions The Joss Family Bursary for Research Excellence (the Bursary) is awarded on the condition that the recipient maintains employment at La Trobe University. The Bursary is a one-off payment of $10,000 and must be used for research purposes. The bursary is paid following confirmation of your continued employment. Payments will be processed into a nominated La Trobe outside earnings account. If you choose to leave La Trobe, you will forfeit this Bursary. You are required to provide a brief written report to the donors detailing your activities and progress in your chosen course of research.
