La Trobe University and the Climate Change Network are proud to present two webinars recording as part of Global Climate Change Week (GCCW) 2022. Global Climate Change Week (GCCW) encourages Universities and their communities across all disciplines and countries to engage with each other, their communities, and policymakers on climate change action and solutions.

Pedagogy for a Climate Changed Future

In this webinar, the Climate Network seeks to answer:

  • What do the twin crises of climate change and biodiversity breakdown mean for the ways we think about and practice our teaching?
  • How do we equip our students for a world that might be radically different from the one we currently know?
  • Are the tools of knowledge and inquiry that we currently use and teach, up to the challenge of a climate changed future?
  • And in the context of intensifying climate disruption, how do we deal in the classroom with the anxiety and grief it can evoke?

Join us to dissect these issues and how best to address them in the classroom.
