FAQ

An early conditional offer is an offer to say you have a place reserved for you in the course you’ve applied for, but you will still need to meet any entry requirements that are outlined in your offer.

You can apply for all Aspire programs you’re eligible for, so you'll increase your chances of getting more than one early conditional offer into your dream course.

However, there are different requirements for each program, so make sure you check that you meet all requirements.

Course caps will only apply to a very small percentage of courses that have limited places.

You can still apply to study at La Trobe via the normal VTAC course application process.

Alternatively, you can apply for any of the other Aspire programs, provided you can meet their eligibility requirements.

Early Conditional Offers^ will be announced from September 2024*, for those students that are in Year 12 in 2024. You will receive an unconditional offer from La Trobe once your Year 12 results are confirmed.

Those students currently in Year 11 and completing Year 12 next year will receive an Early Conditional Offer in the September* of their final schooling year.

^ In order to receive an Early Conditional Offer - you must have met the criteria by successfully submitting a completed application – including the successful upload of your Year 11 results and your completed School Endorsement Form.

this is an estimate and may be longer during peak application periods.

You can nominate up to three course preferences. You will receive an offer for the highest preference for which you are eligible.

It is a requirement that all students studying their Year 12 in Victoria must apply through VTAC for university entry.

Yes, you can submit your application form when you’re in Year 11. We understand your results won't be available until after your exams, so you can email them through via study@latrobe.edu.au when they are ready.

In the meantime, you can get started on your application to avoid any delays. Check out our ‘How to apply’ steps for more information.

Alternatively, you can apply when you're in your final year of schooling, using those Year 11 obtained results. All Conditional Offers that relate to the Year 11 program, outcomes will be from September* of your final school year.

All Bachelor of Education applicants must:

  • complete a Situational Judgement Test (e.g. Casper or AFTA) to be eligible for entry into this course.
  • receive a minimum selection rank of 70 for entry. Aspire students can utilise their ATAR as well as any adjustment factors via the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) that result in achieving the minimum selection rank.
