What’s Aspire Achieve Plus?
Are you a high achieving student looking to include university subjects in your VCE and ATAR calculation?
Aspire Achieve Plus rewards Year 12 students who’ve studied a first-year university subject pair as part of their VCE studies with an early conditional offer to La Trobe.
Choose a subject pair (two subjects total) and study one in each semester, and your marks from those subjects will contribute to your ATAR or replace it with a La Trobe Entrance Score, whichever is higher, to increase your chances of getting into your dream course. There is no cost for this program, plus you’ll get credit for the subjects you’ve completed when you start an eligible degree at La Trobe – so you’ll start one step ahead.
Who can apply?
The Aspire Achieve Plus program is a great option for high-achieving Year 12 students that would like to take on La Trobe studies as part of their formal VCE studies.
Achieve Plus subjects are an accredited part of the VCE, and we’ll handle the hassle of making sure your grades are recognised with VCAA.
This option is only available to high achieving scored VCE students who:
- Have enrolled in at least 4 VCE unit 3/4 subjects (one must be English or EAL)
- Are eligible to be awarded the VCE and have demonstrated high-achieving results (B/70% pass average)
Applicants must also provide their Year 11 results.
