Accept and enrol

When you’re offered a place at La Trobe University, you'll receive a letter of offer from VTAC or UAC and enrolment instructions from us. Your next step is to accept your offer and enrol online.

Planning to defer?

We recommend accepting your offer to lock in your place. You can still defer or withdraw before census date without incurring fees. To defer and start your course mid-year or in the next academic year, follow these steps.

Orientation

After you've enrolled, your first experience on campus will be Orientation. This is your chance to meet people, find your way around campus and learn about life at La Trobe.

Starting uni

To help you settle in to university life, you can choose to be paired with your own La Trobe Host – a later year student who'll help you at Orientation and over the first six weeks of Semester 1. You may also want to check out:
