General
The Bouverie Centre is located in Brunswick, central to multiple public transport options. The 508 bus stops on Victoria Street, 130m from the Centre. The #19 tram stops on Sydney Road, 650m from the Centre. And the Upfield line train stops 500m from the Centre.
Yes, we have ample parking available on site at no charge. Additionally, there is plenty of 2-hour street parking nearby.
Please speak to reception when you arrive if you will require access to WiFi while on site.
Self-paced online learning
Your username is sent via email at the time of registration. Search your inbox for La Trobe Professional to find related emails.
Go to the login page and select "Short course" from the drop-down menu below Short Course and Other Users. Enter your username and password.
Go to the reset password page and enter your username or email. You will receive an email with a link to set a new password.

It is a requirement for all our training course participants to complete pre-course questions (Baseline Questionnaire) and post-course questions (Post-learning Questionnaire). This helps you to observe your own progress and reflect on the learnings. Responses to the questions help us, as an integrated practice-research centre, to understand workforce needs and training impacts, and to refine our work. Yes, participants are provided with a certificate of attendance, including Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours upon completion of the post-learning questionnaire.
Materials and resources are sent to participants closer to the workshop date, generally this is 1-2 weeks prior to the first date of your workshop. If you have not received any emails, please get in touch at bouverie.training@latrobe.edu.au.
Yes, lunch and light snacks are provided. Lunch is catered by an external kitchen, if you have a severe allergy or intolerance, please let us know.
Kitchenette facilities including a fridge, boiling water tap, and microwave are available for your use.
Online workshops are delivered via Zoom. Participants will need their own device, a webcam, microphone, and a steady internet connection to attend an online workshop. Zoom links are distributed via email closer to the workshop date.
No, we do not offer hybrid delivery at this time. Most workshops are offered in both online and in-person formats to cater to as many people as possible. If there are no suitable dates available in your preferred delivery format, please submit an expression of interest here to be notified when future dates are scheduled.
