Learning and Teaching Week 2023 – registrations open

This year’s theme focuses on artificial intelligence, inclusive education, authentic assessment and more.

Learning and Teaching Week is an opportunity to highlight and celebrate achievements, innovations and best practices in the field of teaching and learning at La Trobe. During this event, colleagues will share their experiences, research findings and successful strategies for enhancing the learning environment and supporting student success.

This year’s theme Inclusive education: Navigating innovation, technology and authenticity offers a cross-school series of events focused on artificial intelligence, inclusive education, authentic assessment and more.

As a three-day event, attendees will have the opportunity for professional development, knowledge exchange and collaborative learning.

Program design:

  • Day 1 begins with Professor Phill Dawson (Co-Director of the Centre for Research in Assessment and Digital Learning (CRADLE) at Deakin University) and will focus on Artificial Intelligence and purposeful use of technology to enhance education (including modes of delivery).
  • Day 2 will feature a series of showcases, lightning talks and workshops with a focus on inclusive education and authentic assessment.
  • Day 3 includes a series of showcases that focus on Supporting WIL in the curriculum, a student panel and a closing keynote.
