A special announcement from ARCSHS Director

Director of the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society, Professor Suzanne Fraser, shares a special message on Wednesday March 25, 2020

Dear ARCSHS friends, partners and collaborators,

As with organisations all around the country, ARCSHS is currently implementing measures to protect staff and carry on our important work as seamlessly as possible. With the government’s announcement limiting movement, our staff and students will almost exclusively work from home until further notice. Creating the conditions for doing so effectively and with wellbeing in mind has been challenging, but we’ve made great progress. While we continue to refine arrangements, our work will go on largely uninterrupted. We will continue to produce some of Australia’s most innovative, rigorous and useful research on sex and health in society and deliver some of the country’s best training and education, and will keep you informed through our newsletters, websites and social media. If you don’t already follow us on Twitter (@LTU_Sex_Health), or Facebook (@Latrobe.ARCSHS), please do so. You may also wish to bookmark our websites for easy access to updates and reports:

Many thanks to those of you who have passed on your well wishes to our teams. We wish you all the best too at this difficult time, and look forward to returning to happier circumstances, and more face-to-face collaboration and communication, in the future.

If you have any questions about our ongoing work, whether it be our ARCSHS research or our Rainbow Health Victoria training, education and advocacy work, please don’t hesitate to contact me, Rainbow Health Victoria Director Marina Carman, or anyone in our team.
