Rock Solid invests in local students

Students studying Marketing at La Trobe University's Mildura Campus will have the chance to win a $1000 prize, thanks to Rock Solid Marketing.

Rock Solid Marketing have recently established their Mildura branch and are keen to attract more local students to marketing as a career.  Founder, Sean McCoy, grew up in Mildura and says forming a partnership with the local University made sense.

“I’m very keen to invest in locals who want to kickstart their marketing career in Mildura.  Rock Solid is a full service marketing agency that provides organisations with everything they need to promote a professional  presence both through digital and traditional marketing activities.  We work in many industries and this is a great opportunity for students to enter their career in marketing. There are not too many businesses that can offer a recent graduate the breadth and depth of marketing activities like branding, website developing, e-commerce, website analytics, SEO, social media, graphic design, copywriting and print,” Sean says.

The $1000 award is a partnership Rock Solid Marketing has signed with La Trobe University for the next three years.  The Rock Solid Marketing Excellence award will be presented to the Bachelor of Business (Marketing/Management) final year student with the highest weighted average mark.

Rock Solid Marketing (formally Captivate Digital) was founded in 2015 by McCoy and has a presence in Melbourne, Mildura and Perth, with plans to grow the business across Australia.  The team at Rock Solid Marketing specialise in working with local businesses to help grow current and open new markets for their products and services.
