Electric vehicle chargers
We've installed 93 electric vehicle (EV) chargers across our Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo, Melbourne (Bundoora), Mildura and Shepparton campuses.
Students, staff and the community can access EV charging, with bays available for fleet and personal use.
Passenger fleet changeover
We've transitioned our passenger vehicle fleet to electric vehicles (EVs), with charging infrastructure - including fast-charging bays - installed to support inter-campus travel. This transition cuts 200,000 kilograms of CO2 emissions each year.
Security fleet changeover
We piloted a transition to low-emission security vehicles at our Melbourne (Bundoora) and Bendigo campuses in 2020. After 18 successful months, we committed to electrifying the entire security fleet.
