Access to La Trobe libraries is currently only available to La Trobe staff and students, SuniTAFE staff and students (Mildura) and Wodonga TAFE staff and students (Wodonga).  A current Staff or Student ID is required.

Borrowing

  • Items that are on loan, in storage or available at another La Trobe campus library can be requested for collection at your local campus library
  • Standard loan periods now apply. For detailed information, visit what can I borrow and for how long

Returns

  • Returns are quarantined for 48 hours before returning to the shelves.
  • Shepparton pop-up: returns are only available during opening hours.

Renewals and requests

  • Renewals and requests have returned to normal (for LTU staff and students only), visit what can I borrow and for how long
  • All Latrobe items currently on loan have been extended through to 11 January or later. From 4 January standard loan limits and loan periods will apply

Short term loan periods

Items previously managed as 3 hour or 3 day loans now have a 7 day limit. These items may not be renewed.

Recalls

Requested items on loan will be recalled and the loan period reduced to 28 days

Remote Delivery

Our temporary Click and Send service is no longer available, however we offer a remote delivery service for eligible staff & students.

Interlibrary loan and Document Delivery service

Items supplied by Document Delivery should be returned when due date is reached. Contact the Document Delivery team on docds@latrobe.edu.au if your item cannot be returned before the due date.
