Courses
A supportive environment
We want our students to have an excellent experience with us, stay inspired and obtain the workplace skills they need to succeed in their future careers.
Our programs prepare students for careers in nutrition, dietetics, exercise physiology, sport science, sport and recreation management, sport data analytics, public health, corporate and community wellness, sport performance, and injury prevention and recovery.
Our students learn in world class facilities and have access to experienced academic staff, skilled practitioners and industry leaders. They also have opportunities to build practical skills, gain placement experience and develop professional connections.
Professional experience
Placements and Work Integrated Learning opportunities give our students the essential workplace experience they need to develop job ready skills, build confidence and explore potential careers.
Depending on their course, students may gain experience in settings such as hospitals, community health centres, sporting clubs, non-government organisations, sporting clubs, leagues and institutes, fitness centres, and private enterprises providing health, sport, recreation and performance services.
These opportunities recognise that graduates will work in a wide range of careers and settings, and ensure that they make a seamless transition from university to employment.
A global perspective
Our students are encouraged to take a world view of health, wellbeing, sport and physical activity, and may have opportunities to take part in in-person or virtual learning experiences with a global focus.
We have international academic and industry partnerships that offer our students engagement with, and an understanding of, global issues.
Our academic staff also bring their international experience, and collaborations in research and professional practice, to our curriculum.
