I highly recommend getting involved with extracurricular activities or student societies on campus, as they can open up new doors to a vast array of opportunities.
Mr Michael Faulks
Current student; Student ambassador

Course of study:
Bachelor of Law 2014
Bachelor of Psychology 2014
I’m Michael Faulks and I’m a student ambassador at La Trobe. As a student ambassador, I have the privilege of sharing my experience of university to potential students, to assist them in deciding whether they will pursue tertiary education, and if they do, why they should choose La Trobe.
I’m currently studying a double degree in Law and Psychological Science. My career ambitions are to work in the field of medical law. My other ambitions are to travel to every continent on earth, and attain a PhD qualification.
Being an ambassador is both enjoyable and rewarding, as I am able to reminisce on my favourite aspects and experiences of university, whilst educating potential students about the opportunities and rewards university can offer.
My advice for future students is to get involved with extracurricular activities or student societies on campus, as they can open up new doors to a vast array of opportunities.
Such opportunities may include the pursuing career interests, meeting new like-minded people, and establishing new friendships. The tranquil environment, atmosphere on campus during summer, and excellent and accessible facilities are the main reasons why La Trobe is great.
