Background

The Mason Family Trust Visual Arts Bursary was established through a donation from the Mason Family Trust. It aims to improve access and support for Bachelor of Visual Arts (Bendigo) students experiencing educational or financial disadvantage, with preference given to students from regional areas.

The bursary assists recipients with the substantial costs associated with purchasing equipment and materials required for their Visual Arts studies. 


Are you eligible to apply?

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a domestic student.
  • Be enrolled in any year of the Bachelor of Visual Arts at Bendigo Campus in 2026. 
  • Provide evidence of disadvantage within the general application form.

Recipients of the scholarship shall be selected by the University based on their:


  • Provided evidence of educational disadvantage (including but not limited to financial hardship, caring responsibilities, non-English speaking background, disability or other hardship or disadvantage).
  • Preference is given to regional student.
