Janice Moira Bible Scholarships
Background
The Janice Moira Bible Scholarship was established by the late Janice Moira Bible to support women to advance their nursing careers and become leaders in our healthcare systems.
The scholarship will be awarded annually (2024-2030) to five women commencing in the Master of Nursing course at La Trobe’s Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus, with:
- Two scholarships awarded based on merit (academic achievement) - to be awarded again in Semester 1 2026,
- Two scholarships awarded based on access (educational disadvantage) - to be awarded again in Semester 1 2026, and
- One scholarship awarded to an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student - currently accepting applications for Semester 2 2025.
Are you eligible to apply?
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:
• Be enrolled into Master of Nursing at the Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus
• Be Female
• Be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander

Submit an application via the La Trobe Access Scholarships application form.
Please note: All Master of Nursing students are encouraged to apply. However, this particular scholarship is designated for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students. If you do not meet this eligibility, there may be other scholarships and bursaries available to you.
