Campus Extension

Artist's impression of the Shepparton Campus Extension.

Work to deliver an exciting extension to our campus commenced in July 2023.

First announced in 2019, the campus extension is supported by an investment from the University, along with Commonwealth Government funding, and will deliver a larger campus that ensures that La Trobe’s Shepparton students have the best possible experience.

The project commenced in July 2023, with Member for Shepparton Kim O'Keefe, former La Trobe Vice-Chancellor John Dewar AO, Senator for Victoria Jana Stewart and Sepparton Mayor Shane Sali attending a sod-turning event on campus.

We are excited to be doubling the capacity of our clinical nursing laboratory, expanding library and student study spaces and incorporating a flexible community events and gallery space to encourage more industry engagement and collaboration in our region.

During this time, the campus is still open to students. Student services and programs including ASK La Trobe, Student Advising, Indigenous Engagement, La Trobe Student Association and the Library continue to be available on-site during the building works.

In addition to these services, other campus teams are also working from desks on the ground floor.
