Driving sustainable finance

As part of La Trobe's commitment to sustainability, we created the Sustainable Finance Program, aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Our program supports projects that deliver meaningful environmental and social outcomes.

Key milestones in 2023

Launched our first Green Bond offering in August, worth $175 million under our Sustainable Finance Framework.
We became one of the first Australian universities to establish a Sustainability-Linked Loan worth $195 million in November.
