Workshop style

The workshop will be a combination of teaching presentation, observation, and live demonstration. The workshop will include input from our students, an "in vivo" demonstration, and a discussion exploring the possible neurobiological explanation of its effectiveness.

Understand the context required for effective outcomes
Identify themes and trends in the history of family therapy training that address the Self, of the therapist, and “stuck” points or aspects of practice
Identify the elements thought to be the foundational to “transformational change”

Integrate these elements into your teaching and/or clinical practice.
