Dr Annette Jackson
Director Research and Practice, Berry Street Yooralla,
Adjunct Professor, La Trobe University (BSW, MSW, Diploma Therapeutic Life Story Work, PhD)
Annette has worked for 4 decades with infants, children and families who have experienced trauma and neglect.
She has worked across child protection, out-of-home care, family preservation and therapeutic services. Annette has published in peer-reviewed journals and books on topics such as family reunification, neglect, disability, and trauma-informed practice. Annette’s PhD was on developing a theory of change about how to help children recover from the impacts of neglect.
