For the first time, the Research Showcase will be delivered online, making it easier for people across Australia to participate. Whether you're an Autistic person, family member, clinician, educator, researcher, policymaker, student or community member, you'll have the opportunity to engage with research that is shaping more inclusive and evidence-informed practice.
This year's program features presentations on neurodiversity-affirming supervision for graduate researchers, personalised approaches to mental health, participatory autism research, and new understandings of Autistic cognition through monotropism. The event will also include a presentation on the newly established Australian Autism Knowledge Hub - an exciting national initiative that will help translate autism research into practical, evidence-based guidance for the people who design and deliver supports.
The Showcase is free to attend and offers a unique opportunity to connect with the next wave of autism research from wherever you are.
