The Ophelia process provides a practical, evidence-informed way to put the National Health Literacy Framework into action. It is documented in the 2022 WHO Report on Health Literacy Development for the Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases which is classified as a WHO Global Public Health Good publication.

Led by Distinguished Professor Richard Osborne, and Associate Professor Melanie Hawkins, from the Violet Vines Marshman Centre for Rural Health Research, this practical, face-to-face masterclass will equip public health practitioners, researchers, and policymakers with approaches to tackle complex challenges and reduce health inequalities.

Strengthen your skills in co-design, implementation and evaluation and put health literacy into action with communities.
