Innovation Series: Biosensors in Action

Biosensors are transforming the way we detect, measure and respond to the world around us – with applications spanning healthcare, diagnostics, public safety and emerging technologies.

Join La Trobe University researchers, innovators and industry collaborators for an exploration of biosensors in action. Through real-world examples of collaboration with Victoria Police, Triton Biosensors, AlleSense, the BEST Centre and MOBIUS, you’ll hear how biosensor technologies are moving from research into real-world applications, spanning roadside drug detection, cancer diagnostics and point-of-use blood testing.

Speakers will also explore the journey to commercialisation, including clinical validation, scalable manufacturing and large-scale production of electrochemical and imaging-based biosensors.
