Healthy Towns is back in Castlemaine this November and December!

Join La Trobe University nursing students for health promotion activities, friendly conversations and an opportunity to play a part in supporting our future rural health workforce.

Healthy Towns brings student learning beyond traditional healthcare settings and into the places where people live, work and connect.

What's on offer?

  • Interactive health promotion and wellbeing activities
  • Friendly conversations about everyday health and healthy lifestyles
  • Practical health information and resources
  • Opportunities to share your experiences and help nursing students develop their confidence, communication and professional skills

What's new?

Dental students will also be joining Healthy Towns throughout the program, offering basic dental assessments and dental services to community members. This is another opportunity to support students' practical learning while promoting oral health and wellbeing in the community.
