Student Residential Life

Student residents will enrich Bendigo’s community while upholding conduct standards that protect local and environmental values.

Adding Value to Bendigo’s Community Growth

The new accommodation will bring significant benefits to Bendigo’s social and economic fabric.

It will create job opportunities through direct employment for operations, maintenance, and support staff, as well as indirect employment from increased demand for local services and construction-related jobs.

Through this development, partnerships will be strengthened by fostering collaboration with local industry and community organisations, supporting co-location of partners, and creating student pathways with local schools and employers.

The accommodation will also support the growth of Bendigo’s social and economic fabric by providing inclusive housing for diverse student populations, increasing local spending, and offering access to campus facilities and events for community members.

Maintaining Local Standards

Our new student accommodation in Bendigo will be committed to upholding and enhancing the environmental and social integrity of the locality. Residents will comply with university policies and laws pertaining to fire safety, waste management, and prohibited items to ensure safety and cleanliness. Furthermore, noise control policies and designated quiet hours will help maintain community peace. Regular maintenance and professional cleaning of buildings and grounds will uphold hygiene standards.

Controlled access with electronic keycards, CCTV monitoring, and 24/7 onsite staff presence will ensure security. If ever the need arises, Community members will have access to a transparent complaint resolution process to raise concerns.
