The three equally important accountabilities of Custodianship, Compliance and Customer Service are central to ensuring the effective delivery of this financial function.

The finance function carries significant responsibilities as the custodians of University monetary resources. The management team must ensure that sufficient funds are available to enable La Trobe in a financially sustainable manner to achieve its strategic goals. Through the management of financial risk and the management of financial assets, compliance to all legislation and statutes is paramount.
