The JHC William Cooper Scholarship
Background
This scholarship is in honour of the Yorta Yorta man William Cooper, a human rights activist who dedicated his life to fight for Indigenous rights. The scholarship is open to Indigenous students commencing their studies at the La Trobe University Shepparton Campus in Semester 1 2019. Each scholarship recipient will be offered an opportunity for voluntary work or project work with the Jewish Holocaust Centre.
Are you eligible to apply?
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:
- be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- be intending to enrol in an undergraduate degree at the Shepparton campus of La Trobe in Semester 1 2019
Recipients of the scholarship shall be selected by the University based on their:
- an application submitted via the VTAC scholarship application form
- supporting documentation submitted with your application
