Background

The Lenneberg Scholarship in International Relations will support a student studying Honours in the School of HUSS with a focus on International Relations.

Are you eligible to apply?

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, New Zealand Citizen, Humanitarian Visa Holder or International Student
  • Be enrolled in 2021 into the Bachelor of International Relations (Honours) or the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with an International Studies major or a Politics major with an international angle to their proposed research topic.
There is no application process for this scholarship.

Recipients of the scholarship shall be selected by the University based on their:

Preference will given to candidates who are the first on their family to attend university and potential candidates will be assessed on the basis of their 3rd year grades in international relations and politics subjects.

Recipient obligations

The recipient will submit a written report at the end of the year that states how they have benefitted from the scholarship and what their intentions are upon completion of their Honours year. The recipient must also be willing to meet with the donor if asked to do so (with support provided from the Advancement Office).
