Background

The Howard Family Law Scholarship is an access-based scholarship established by La Trobe Law School alumnus, Leigh Howard.

The scholarship is for students in the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) course or double degree who are experiencing educational disadvantage. Full-time recipients will receive $2,500 per semester for the duration of their course.

From Leigh Howard:

“Obtaining my law degree at La Trobe was life changing. I felt it was time to give back with a scholarship. It is a privilege to be able to make a difference in the life of a student. My hope is that I have put them in a position to better access all of the opportunities that La Trobe can offer."
