In partnership with ISES, La Trobe University introduces a distinctive Postgraduate Qualifying Program in Chengdu, China for the year 2025.

La Trobe's Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP) enables students to pathway into a range of postgraduate courses.

This initiative aims to facilitate international education for diploma and undergraduate students across the Western China region, emphasising academic proficiency and English language skills.

Study Experience and Benefits

The PQP offers participants a four-month session in the culturally vibrant city of Chengdu, China, before embarking on their master's studies at La Trobe University. The program helps students build a strong foundation for academic success and adapt to university life in Australia. It's ideal for those who aspire to excel in their chosen fields and achieve their career goals through postgraduate education.

The course is designed for students who want to study a postgraduate degree in business but don't yet meet the direct entry requirements. Delivered in a supportive learning environment, the PQP focuses on enhancing critical thinking, communication and discipline-specific skills to prepare you for postgraduate study.

  • Start dates: March and July annually
  • Program duration: 12-16 weeks of intensive coursework, followed by one week of examinations
  • Address: Level 45, Office Tower 1, Chengdu IFS, No. 1 Hongxing Road 3rd Section, Jinjiang, Chengdu, Sichuan 610000, China.

Pathway to Postgraduate Studies in Australia

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible for entry into a range of predetermined La Trobe postgraduate courses located in Melbourne, Australia, bridging the gap between prior academic qualifications and advanced studies.
