Partnerships

As a growing initiative, Yani Global Exchange is actively building a network of international partnerships grounded in shared values of cultural integrity, reciprocity, and Indigenous-led collaboration.

Our current partners

We’re proud to be working with the University of Calgary and the University of Guelph in Canada. Through close collaboration with their Indigenous Student Services centres, we ensure students are supported holistically - academically, socially, culturally, and in their wellbeing.

These early partnerships lay the foundation for a broader global network of First Nations exchange, and we’re excited to continue expanding the Yani community.

The Writing Symbols Lodge at the University of Calgary is a culturally grounded support centre that empowers First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students. It offers a wide range of services and programs that honour Indigenous identities while fostering academic success and cultural connection.

The Indigenous Student Centre (ISC) at the University of Guelph is a vibrant, inclusive space rooted in Indigenous kinship and community values. It brings together students from diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis backgrounds, fostering belonging through shared culture and support. The ISC offers services and programs supporting academic success, and social and cultural wellbeing.
