To celebrate World Food Day, LISAF will host a University of the Third Age (U3A) lecture offering a behind-the-scenes look at how research happens and how it shapes the world we live in. Through engaging examples, researchers will share the journey from ideas and discoveries to real-world impact. The session will highlight how many of the foods, technologies and practices we now take for granted are the result of years of research and development, while giving participants an opportunity to meet researchers and discover the people and processes behind innovation.
